Knox Pumpkin Farm

The Knox family has been farming in Durham since 1832. Nestled in the countryside, this historic farm offers lots of fun for the whole family.

Come on out for some 'farmtastic' fall fun!

Includes a pumpkin patch, a straw jump, farm animals, a kid's corn maze, and pony rides. In December join us for Christmas trees and all the trimmings and visit Santa by horse and wagon.

Pre-purchased tickets are required for all visits.

In December you can make a unique appointment to take a horse-drawn wagon ride and meet up with Santa Claus

Patch Parties!

- Patch parties include a reserved picnic table area (for an hour and a half) and access for 15 participants to the farm and all activities: the farm barn, corn mini-maze, straw jump, storybook forest, the valley trail and wagon ride to visit the Pumpkin Patch. Includes one pumpkin for the birthday boy/girl. Pony rides and additional pumpkins and decorations are available for purchase.

On arrival, check in at the entrance to be directed to your reserved table (1-2 green picnic tables adjacent to Goatland) and receive a group leader wristband to show the tractor driver when your group is ready to join a wagon ride. Your party is free to roam around the farm and visit activity areas at your leisure (no guided tour). Most parties stay at the picnic table initially for celebration and present opening, prior to their farm visit (while a parent moves the presents to their car).

What to bring? You're welcome to bring tablecloths and other decorations (+cake/cupcakes if celebrating a birthday!). Our kitchen is open on weekends and we offer a range of delicious food, such as pumpkin curry, chili, hotdogs, drinks and sweets. - Pony rides, offered on weekends, and any additional pumpkins or porch decorations that your party would like to purchase are available at an additional charge, payable at the farm exit gate. Complimentary rain date rescheduling is available.

- Reminder: Birthday party hosts are required to clean up their reserved picnic table area and leave it as they found it, for the next guests to enjoy. Please remind guests that there are no pets, no smoking/vaping on farm property and no littering permitted.
