White Meadows Farms, located in Pelham, Ontario, offers engaging experiences for children and families, especially during their annual Sugar Bush Trek. ------ HIGHLIGHTS ------ - Sugar Bush Trek Dates - Weekends from Feb 28 - Apr 12, plus March Break (Mar 16–20) and Good Friday (Apr 3) - Sugar Shuttle Ride: Begins with a ~10-minute ride on a tractor-pulled wagon (“Sugar Shuttle”) across meadows and farmland to the edge of the sugar bush forest. - Guided Walking Tour: A guided ~45-minute walk through the sugar bush. You’ll learn about the sugar maple tree, how sap is collected, and historic Indigenous and pioneer tapping and boiling methods. - Maple Taffy on Snow: A highlight for children is the opportunity to enjoy warm maple taffy made by pouring hot maple syrup onto snow, creating a sweet treat. - Interactive Activities: At the end of the educational walk, there are lots of fun hands-on things like: Tapping a tree Sap line maze Sap collection stations Measuring your wingspan Cross-cut saw fun & branded log coin keepsakes - During your visit you can also explore the forest on your own after the guided part, and visit the Sugar Shack on site, where you may see maple syrup being boiled.

- Your ticket time is your wagon departure time. Plan ahead to arrive early and check in, use the washrooms and/or meet others BEFORE the wagon departs.
- Tours run rain/snow or shine! High winds and/or extreme weather may cause us to cancel, you will be contacted if this occurs.
- Dress warm and give yourself a minimum of 1½ hours to enjoy the tour and explore the trails.
- Portable washrooms are available for you on the Sugar Bush Trek.
- Trails are stroller-friendly! Sport models or styles with larger wheels are recommended.
- Pets and smoking are not permitted in the Sugar Bush.
