Located in Downtown Markham, the Pride of Canada Carousel is a prominent attraction, a 50-foot-high structure featuring 44 rideable sculptures, which were unveiled at a private preview event in June 2016 before making its public debut at a free Canada Day celebration. Conveniently located along a VIVA Rapidway and housed in a beautiful open glass pavilion at 8080 Birchmount Road, the carousel is open year-round* and features a free public outdoor skating rink maintained by The Remington Group, adjacent to the Downtown Markham Presentation Centre and Terre Rouge Craft Kitchen. Designed with kids in mind, the experience blends art and play, inviting little riders to hop onto whimsical, Canadian-inspired figures and enjoy a classic carousel ride with a modern twist. Bright colours, quirky characters, and plenty of smiles make this a standout stop for families looking for a quick, joyful outing. ----- BOOK YOUR PARTY ----- - The Pride of Canada Carousel offers two-hour bookings on Saturdays and Sundays for Birthday Parties.
