An impressive reconstruction of the 1873 train station, the Collingwood Museum overlooks the beautiful Georgian Bay. We preserve the history of Collingwood and area, feature exhibits showcasing our unique shipbuilding heritage, and offer excellent resources for local history research. Plan a family picnic in Memorial Park, or visit us for special events and activities throughout the year. Collingwood Museum Summer Programs Our popular summer programs are back! Children ages 6-12 are invited to spend active and heritage-inspired mornings with Museum staff all summer long. Our summer programs run between 9:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m., Monday through Thursday for eight weeks beginning July 4.
