The weather has certainly cooled down from the highs of July and August, but for many of us, the outdoors can still be a bit much when we've got little ones in tow. That's why, this week, we're taking a look at some fun things we can do after the sun has set and the temperature is a little more bearable for some outdoor activities.
An immersive show combining 30 fountains, lights and surround sound, IMAGINE is a feast for all your senses and is sure to amaze both you and your littles.
IMAGINE is set to relaunch on September 24th and will run daily from sunset.
Take in the beautiful views of the Arabian Gulf and Dubai’s skyline with your family at the 11km-long Palm Jumeirah Boardwalk. Head out in the early hours of the day or during sunset to enjoy lower temperatures.
It’s also a perfect place for your kiddies to blow off some steam on their bikes and scooters!
Tucked away on the banks of Dubai's creek, Al Seef is located near the Al Fahidi historical neighborhood in an area rich in historical sites. It is a gorgeous place for you and your family to shop, dine, and explore a bit of Dubai's culture and heritage. Stop by this gorgeous pedestrian bridge that you and your kiddies will find by Dubai Water Canal (on the Safa Park side). Sunrise and sunset make for the most amazing Insta-worthy snaps.
Tucked along the north of Jumeirah Public Beach, La Mer is a charming and laid-back beach-life hub where you and the kids can eat, stroll and relax. With its gorgeous boulevards sprinkled with stunning graffiti murals and magical lights, a stroll up and down La Mer is sure to keep big and small engaged.
Give your family a new perspective of the city’s iconic skyline by hopping on a Dubai Ferry tour and exploring gorgeous routes on board a comfortable and fully air-conditioned vessel.
Jump onboard by Dubai Marina Mall and enjoy a tour that goes via Palm Jumeirah and Atlantis, The Palm. Of if you're up for a longer trip, there's a ferry that goes from Dubai Canal to Dubai Marina.
Catch bird-eye views (more like airplane views) of Dubai at the top of Burj Khalifa. You will love the thrill of the world's fastest double deck elevators, cruising at 10m/s, along with the breathtaking views of the skyline of course.

The Beach is also the perfect spot to catch the stunning sight of the giant Ain Dubai Ferris Wheel.

Experience the Louvre under a full-moon sky, in this twist on the popular Museum Kayaking experience. Take your family on a kayak tour and learn about Louvre Abu Dhabi's architecture from a different perspective.
No prior experience is necessary. Tours last 60 minutes. Guests will be accompanied by professional instructors and given a safety and paddle briefing prior to the tour.

Get some fresh air and enjoy a late afternoon out at this park that aims to promote education through recreation. Explore the exotic botanic garden or let your kiddos run around in the wide open spaces.

Head over to the rooftop at The Galleria and spend some time outdoors with your littles. Their Sky Park is perfect to take in some great city views while you can have a stroll or blow off some steam over at the Family Park and Sports Park.

Located in the heart of Sharjah, Al Majaz Waterfront is a family-favourite destination overlooking the Khaled Lagoon. Attractions include the spectacular Sharjah Musical Fountain, boat rides, international restaurants and cafés, a jogging track, snack and drink kiosks, a mosque, the Maraya Art Park, the Splash Park for kids with a children's playground, mini golf for all ages, and wonderful greeneries.
Al Majaz Waterfront is also known to host a variety of exciting events, concerts and festivals throughout the year.
Get carried away with your family and explore the night sky with “Sky Watch” where you can spend time viewing the moon, visible planets and engage in a basic stargazing session by using the center's powerful professional telescopes.
