HURRAH! The weather is finally starting to cool down. That means more of us are slowly but surely ready to explore things to do outdoors – well, at least after the sun sets. 

1. Experience a spectacular 3D light show

Head to DFC for an immersive show combining 30 fountains, lights and surround sound. The IMAGINE show is absolutely a feast for all your senses and is sure to amaze your littles.

2. Explore an urban lake

A great show deserves a great seat and with the fountain’s lake ride, that’s exactly what you get. Take the family to see the fountain show up-close and experience it in a magical way.

3. Dine in the post-apocalyptic

Explore a pit stop featuring great food and a post-apocalyptic scenery filled with monster trucks, war rigs, abandoned vehicles, and delicious flavours.

4. Journey through incredible light art

A seasonal, must-try family activity, Dubai Garden Glow brings you four theme parks all in one place: Glow Park – The largest glow-in-dark garden made of millions of energy-saving bulbs and yards of recycled luminous fabric. 5. Stroll along the canal

You and your family are in for a gorgeous stroll along this 3.2km waterway. Winding its way from Business Bay to the Creek in Old Dubai, the canal offers stunning vistas, running and cycling tracks – plus, you can stop by any of the waterway stations where you and the little ones can hop on a ferry.

6. Take a walk through an urban beach hub

Tucked along the north of Jumeirah Public Beach, La Mer is a charming and laid-back beach-life hub where you and the kids can eat, play and relax. With its gorgeous boulevards sprinkled with stunning graffiti murals and magical lights, a stroll up and down La Mer is sure to keep even the little ones engaged.

7. Hop on a ferry

Give your family a new perspective of the city’s iconic skyline by hopping on a Dubai Ferry tour and exploring gorgeous routes on board a comfortable and fully air-conditioned vessel.

8. Make it a family movie night

Spend a beautiful evening on the stunning grounds of Umm Al Emarat Park, watching all your favorite family movies. Make sure to check out the schedule for which movies are playing when, so you don’t miss your little one’s favorite characters up on the big screen.

9. Splash about

Dress your little ones in their swim wear and let them splash about in the musical water fountain. 10. Watch a fountain show

Sending jets of water soaring 100 meters high in the air, you can guarantee to wow your kids with the water show at this 1970s fountain which is one of the biggest in the Gulf.
