Dubai 30×30 Fitness Challenge is back and we’re already on our feet and moving! With a month-long line up of exciting fitness events and wellness-focused entertainment, there’s so much to choose from. Best of all, there are also multiple ways to get your kids involved in all the action.
1. Kite Beach Fitness Village
Enjoy sun, sea, sand and endless free activities at Kite Beach during Dubai Fitness Challenge – simply book ahead to enjoy the fun.
One of three Fitness Villages in 2020, this expansive area is packed with incredible workout opportunities for every level, with a range of safety measures in place to keep you healthy.
From intense HIIT workouts and family fun at Aqua Park, to volleyball games and beach football kickabouts – you can come back and try something new each day throughout the challenge. You’ll see plenty of your favourite play areas, all upgraded since last year’s DFC.
New this year, you’ll find trampoline workouts at Fitbit Rebounder, with a resident instructor on hand at all times. There’s also a Ladies Pavilion, with facilities dedicated to women-only workouts. The enclosed area features LED screens for self training and guided sessions.
Bringing the whole family? The Teen Fit area hosts a variety of bootcamps, dance classes and functional training for 13 to 18-year-olds. The Kids Camp also has a Skill & Play area with monkey bars and climbing challenges to keep your little ones active.

-Etisalat Fitness Theatre-
The Etisalat Fitness Theatre is the center stage where a variety of fitness sessions with top trainers and fitness experts are hosted.
-Dubai Chamber Burn Camp-
The Dubai Chamber Burn Camp is perfect for fitness enthusiasts seeking strength gains and sweat. Loaded with weights, fitness benches and rigs, this is the ultimate fitness camp for core strength, functional workouts and bootcamps that everyone will enjoy!
-DP WORLD Beach Volleyball-
The DP World Beach Volleyball area is great for a casual game with friends – or some competitive showdowns. Please book ahead if to ensure you get your court.
-DP WORLD Freeplay Zone-
The DP World Freeplay Zone has courts available for football – just book ahead if possible.
-Emirates NBD Teen Fit-
Start training them young! Emirates NBD Teen Fit is dedicated to teens aged 13 to 16 years old. This zone is filled with bootcamps, circuit training and speed and agility sessions. The short workouts and team programmes are designed to include some order and discipline in fitness.

The Emirates NBD Kids Camp is all about learning new skills and playing with fun elements – including a climbing wall. Kids can play for free and enjoy the space under parental supervision.

The IMG World of Adventures Watershed offers unmatched watersports experiences for anyone seeking some adventure and exploration. Hop on for some stand-up paddleboarding or a take it easy on a kayak ride.
Splash and have fun in the Aqua Park! With a massive water inflatable, both kids and adults will definitely enjoy some epic water obstacles.
-Ian Poulter’s Golf Challenge by DP World-
DP World and Ryder Cup legend Ian Poulter are laying down a golfing challenge at Kite Beach Village from 30 October to 28 November. No matter whether you are a seasoned player or new to the game, the chipping and putting challenge will give everyone the chance to test your skills, score points and win some fantastic golf prizes.
-Emirates Astral Zone-
The Emirates Astral Zone offers a wide range of classes, including yoga, pilates and barre. There are also wellness sessions, such as gong baths and meditation.
-DP World Women’s Fitness Pavilion-
The DP World Women’s Fitness Pavilion offers ladies-only classes for those who want to work out in a discreet location with programming from top female trainers.
-DP World Beach Football Arena-

With rockstar instructors, amazing playlists and a full-body workout, spin classes will transform the way you look and feel.With a range of spin bikes, the Daman Spin Station is cycling, re-imagined!
-TALABAT Game of Throws-
If you want to take your game to the next level, grab some friends and head to the Talabat Game of Throws zone and shoot some hoops. The sessions focus on athletic skills for pre-teens to adults. The half-court zone can also be booked during “Book Your Court” timings.
2. Al Khawaneej Fitness Village
Push your pedals and enjoy some family-focused fun at the Khawaneej Fitness Village. With an array of standing bikes, there are plenty of opportunities to complete your 30 on two wheels – and a lot more in store. Half-hour cycling slots are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
Stay tuned for events and activations on the community workout stage, with lots of motivational moments to keep you moving each day. If you’re bringing the kids, then the Family Fitness Zone is perfect for you. The spacious area has daily programming with group classes and open workouts for all fitness and experience levels.
Also brand new, the Kids Skill & Play Area features junior bootcamps, functional training, low climbing walls and parkour obstacles – with dedicated onsite staff available to assist.
In addition to the upgraded Fitness Stage, with a packed daily schedule, the Fitness Village includes an upgraded Ladies Pavilion. The completely enclosed facility offers dedicated workout programmes for ladies only.

The Emirates NBD Cycle Hub is a must for all cyclists. Kids and adults can book bikes free of charge on a first-come, first-served basis.

Parents play a key role in shaping a child’s attitude towards exercise. Families that work out together form healthy habits that last a lifetime. The Dubai Chamber Family Fitness Zone is a flagship area where children, parents, carers and grandparents can get active and have fun together.

3. Hamdan Sports Complex Fitness Hub

Make the most of three Olympic pools, badminton courts, gym and sauna facilities. The week’s activities will cater to all groups and experience levels, from beginners seeking a new sport to those seeking professional workouts – as well as families looking for a fun day out.
4. Dubai Run
The Dubai Fitness Challenge (DFC) is bringing the biggest citywide fun run to residents and visitors with Dubai Run. On 27 November, the entire city will become a personalised running track for all ages, abilities and fitness levels; giving everyone exciting new reasons to join!
Run, jog or walk along your preferred route, distance, location and starting time with your friends and family, and have fun. From Jebel Ali to Jumeirah; Downtown to Dubai Creek – the track is yours to choose in any community or neighbourhood.
So get the kids geared up, and get moving!
5. Festival City Mall Fitness Village
Dubai Festival City Mall will have its very own Fitness Village, complete with a range of attractions and activities for the whole family to enjoy.
Get ready for a climbing wall with five routes, 200-metre zip line, plunging bag jump and the thrilling Quick Jump – the massive leap of faith from a 12-metre platform will have your heart racing and knees shaking.
The IMAGINE Fitness Workout with Fitness First is sure to get everyone moving. Sports lovers can also play football and basketball, while the Workout Stage offers a variety of special exercise routines and motivation throughout Dubai Fitness Challenge.

6. Spinneys Family Fun Run 3
If your little ones are teeming with energy, consider signing the whole family up for a free community race close to where you live. The third Spinneys Family Fun Run takes place on 28 November, inviting all ages and levels of runners to make the most of Dubai’s cooler weather.
You can start with the single 2.2km lap to get into the racing spirit or dial up the stakes on the 4.4km route. After you’re done, make your way to the Run Village to explore all the products on offer and enjoy a delicious snack.
7. Get Your 30x30 on at City Centre Deira
Take a break from your weekend shopping and entertainment to work up a healthy sweat at City Centre Deira this Dubai Fitness Challenge. One 45-minute session will run every afternoon from Thursdays to Saturdays, covering intensive and lively workouts like Zumba, Bollywood dance, body combat and more.
Fancy giving it a try? Head to the mall in your exercise gear, and visit the registration area at the entrance of the class. If there’s a spot available, given the strict social distancing norms in place, you’re all set to start.

8. Dubai Running Tours
Swap your regular sightseeing adventures for a more invigorating and memorable experience with Dubai Running Tours. For the duration of Dubai Fitness Challenge, the free initiative is a fun and active way to explore Dubai’s iconic landmarks and scenic locales, thanks to Arabian Adventures.
Participants can choose between three routes with varying difficulties – an easy 3km, a moderate 5km or an intense 10km. The first option meanders through the historic Al Fahidi district and Dubai Creek; the second winds past the suave downtown Boulevard area; and the third route sweeps along the beachside running track in Jumeirah, starting at Kite Beach.
The 3km run is self-guided, with the help of the Questo app. It’s ideal for a more relaxed pace and can be done at any time that’s convenient for you. The other two routes are guided by members of the ASICS FrontRunner club. Take advantage of the cool, breezy weather and wake up early for a 6am run or wind down with a sunset jog at 6pm.

9. Skechers Performance Run 1
A fun day out for the whole family, the Skechers Performance Run starts off a series of six community races on 13 November. Open to all ages and abilities, the distance categories covered are 2.5km – the perfect one for mum, dad and the kids – as well as 5km and 10km options for the more sports-savvy participants.
After the races, breakfast boxes will be handed out to each contestant and the award ceremony will take place. Held at The Ripe Market over by the Dubai Police Academy, the route promises to be safe and entertaining, and also serves as a superb post-event spot filled with food, music and shopping.
10. Get Your 30x30 on at City Centre Mirdif
This Dubai Fitness Challenge, take your sporty kids to the mall for free training sessions at Mirdif Camp, which will run from morning to evening for a full month. Parents can register children aged between six and 12 at the camp, where the young stars can polish their skills through fun exercises and games like football, basketball, tennis and dodgeball.
All camp courses are taught by certified coaches who will take the necessary precautions to ensure the health and safety of the students at all times.
